2.1.0 When David was an undergraduate he was looking at a cluster of galaxies through a microscope.

He has mistaken one of those dots with the galaxy, while in fact it was a defect in the photo.
Is it a big mistake? It is, at the end of the day, just blobs on a glass, and they were so alike that he couldnโt distinguish them. What is the essence of this mistake?
